OUR STORY
We’ve Been Around:
Our band has been together for over 5 years, playing all kinds of events, big and small. We're proud holders of multiple residencies in Brisbane’s top live music spots, with hundreds of gigs under our belts. This journey has allowed us to refine our offerings, delivering a setlist beyond the reach of many cover bands. We love playing the songs everyone knows and loves, but we also get a kick out of surprising our audience with something different.

One thing that sets us apart is our consistency. Unlike agency-assembled bands, often formed from available artists on the day, Imessa guarantees a cohesive unit. We know each other inside out, rehearse regularly, and bring our A-game every time. This means you get a tight performance, great music, and a vibe that an on-the-fly band just can't match.

Each member of Imessa is a standout musician in their own right, having contributed significantly to the music scene. From touring with internationally acclaimed artists like Sheppard and Conrad Sewell to teaching and owning recording studios, our members have a breadth of experience. Some have even graced stages in New York for major productions. Their individual accolades and industry recognition fuel Imessa's exceptional performance quality.
