About Us – Husband & Wife Team
Our band is led by Costas and Melissa, a husband-and-wife team based in Brisbane who genuinely care about weddings and the couples we meet. As musicians who’ve played at several weddings and attended many as guests, we know firsthand just how much live music can shape a wedding atmosphere—bringing warmth, connection and joy to everyone present.
Being a family-run band means we bring a personal touch to every occasion. We work together closely, not just with each other but with the musicians in our group, making sure we take the time to listen to every client’s brief. Our goal is always to understand each couple’s vision and help create a wedding experience that feels unique and meaningful to them.
Your Wedding: Step by Step

From your first enquiry, either Melissa or Costas will reach out personally to arrange a friendly phone call. We believe in getting to know each couple, so this call is our chance to hear about your plans, what matters most to you, and any special ideas you’d like to include. It’s about understanding your vision—and your brief—so we can start to shape something unique for your wedding.

After our conversation, we’ll take everything you’ve shared and design a customised music solution just for you. We’ll send a clear, detailed quote with all inclusions—music, lighting, production—so you know exactly what’s being provided and how it fits your day.

Once you’re happy with your plan, we send through a straightforward contract for your review and signature. This clearly outlines all services—including music, production, lighting and microphones for speeches if needed—along with important dates and payment terms. A deposit secures your date in our calendar, giving you confidence that everything is locked in and ready.

Leading up to the wedding, we work one-on-one with you to finetune every detail. We liaise with the venue and planners, ensuring all logistics are covered: sound, lighting, setup times, and any specific requirements for the ceremony or speeches. Our musicians prepare ahead for any special requests.

We arrive early to set up all equipment before any guests make their way in. This helps us create a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. We take the time to liaise with your wedding coordinator or MC, making sure all plans and timings are aligned. Our band is fully prepared and ready for the arrival of the wedding party, so you can relax knowing the music and production are taken care of.

Once the festivities have wrapped up, we carefully pack down and load out—all production and equipment taken care of discreetly, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Opting for a Custom Package unlocks the freedom to curate unique band line-ups for every memorable moment—ensuring a truly lush, personalised musical experience. These types of packages may entail higher costs due to minimum call-out fees for musicians, even if they only perform briefly.
Choosing a Signature Package maximises cost-efficiency by utilising the reception band line-up for ceremony, cocktails and reception, effectively reducing the need to hire additional musicians and saving money on extra performance and call-out fees.
